CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
All MSA instructors must comply with the following training requirements…
Medical and Behavioral
Current First Aid/CPR Certification for Adult and Pediatric (approved by the Department and the USCG)
Current SafeSport Certification
Department-approved Concussion awareness training (CDC HEADS UP, etc.)
To be completed each year
Operational and Safety
NASBLA-approved Safe Boating Certificate (all)
US Sailing Level 1 Certification (all)
Department-approved Lifeguard Certification (as required by 430.103(B)(1))
